Drive With Care

Someone you care about rides a bike

2014 bussheltercare2

From behind the windshield it may look like we are all the same, but we come from all walks of life and experiences. We could be your carpenter, doctor, your child’s friend, your priest, or even one of your sports heroes. But always we are someone’s family member. That’s why we’re taking the message directly to road users that everyone needs to drive with care.

Through billboards, bus shelter ads, social media, and ads on the sides of buses we are creating more positive relationships between people driving and people biking.

Stand up for yourself and your friends and neighbors who ride by donating to BikePGH and help us continue to spread the Drive With Care message far and wide!

Care 2013 animated

• A successful Indiegogo Campaign provided the resources to include even more people in the ads.

• In september we launched 36 transit shelters and billboards throughout the city with 100 additional ads on the sides of Port Authority buses.

Summer 2015:

• A Drive With Care web app so people all over can create their profiles.

Drive With Care Goes National!

People for Bikes adopted the Drive With Care campaign and is launching it nationally as Travel With Care! Keep an eye out for these ads on your next road trip.

This campaign has been made possible by a generous grant from The Benter Foundation.

Special thanks to Brad Quartuccio for his photography, Wall-to-Wall Studios for the campaign creative, and Murray Horne and Amy Staggs of the Wood Street Gallery for hosting the photo shoots.
